jnatum

About

curiosity, by design

jnatum is a personal feed — one place for the news, markets, articles, books, and blogs worth keeping up with, without a dozen separate apps and tabs to check.

The name

ज्ञातुम् (jñātum) — to know
इच्छा (icchā) — desire
जिज्ञासा (jijñāsā) — curiosity, the desire to know

jnatum takes its name from jñātum, the Sanskrit infinitive "to know." Paired with icchā — desire — it gives jijñāsā: curiosity itself. That's the spirit the app is built around, not information for its own sake, but the pull to actually understand something.
